U.S.S. Allen M. Sumner DD-692

The USS Allen M. Sumner was launched at Federal Shipbuilding and Drydock Company, Kearny, New Jersey on December 15, 1943. The sponsor was Mrs. Allen M. Sumner widow of Captain Allen M.
